My Reflection

I am learning to recognise fraction of shapes and groups.

It was tricky to work out the fraction.  I am proud that I now know how to work out the fractions.

Next time I can try and work out different fractions.

Features of a non-fiction

Features of a non-fiction text


1.The contents page is on the first page.

2.The index page is at the back of the book.

3.The glossary is something that tells you what some of the words mean.

4.There are mainly photographs because it is true and tells real facts.

5.There are sometimes labels to tell you about the thing.

My Reflection

I am learning about the features of a non-fiction text.

It was tricky to know where in the book to find the glossary.  I am proud that I now know that a non-fiction book has the index page  at the back of the book and the contents page is on the first page. Next I can use this knowledge with other non-fiction books now and when I am older.

What is a pencil?

I am learning how to write an explanation.

My Reflection

It was tricky to think about a pencil and write it down.

        I am proud that I could think about a pencil.

Next time I am going to know to think more.

What Is A Pencil

You use a pencil to write a story and to draw.  It is made out of wood and lead.  You hold it with two fingers at the top and your thumb at the side of the         pencil.  You should sharpen it if it is blunt and put the sharpenings in the compost.
