Today a I was going to a book character parade and I was dressed as Minecraft Steve.

Analogue Clock

I am learning how to tell the time on a analogue clock.  It was tricky to know where the hands need to go.  I am proud that I got some write.  Next I will try to practise telling the time.

I am learning to write a narrative.
It was tricky to think about what I wanted to write.
I am proud that I was able to write my own story.
Next I will write bigger stories.

This is my group trying to pick up the bottle without your hands and just using string and not standing in the string around the bottle.  It was fun and difficult.

The is my group playing a game and it is fishermen. Two are the fishermen and the others are fish.  The fishermen are trying to get the pegs off the fish.

This is my group working out how long some things take to decompose.

Like 600 years to decompose a nappy.

My Reflection

I am learning to recognise fraction of shapes and groups.

It was tricky to work out the fraction.  I am proud that I now know how to work out the fractions.

Next time I can try and work out different fractions.

Features of a non-fiction

Features of a non-fiction text


1.The contents page is on the first page.

2.The index page is at the back of the book.

3.The glossary is something that tells you what some of the words mean.

4.There are mainly photographs because it is true and tells real facts.

5.There are sometimes labels to tell you about the thing.

My Reflection

I am learning about the features of a non-fiction text.

It was tricky to know where in the book to find the glossary.  I am proud that I now know that a non-fiction book has the index page  at the back of the book and the contents page is on the first page. Next I can use this knowledge with other non-fiction books now and when I am older.

What is a pencil?

I am learning how to write an explanation.

My Reflection

It was tricky to think about a pencil and write it down.

        I am proud that I could think about a pencil.

Next time I am going to know to think more.

What Is A Pencil

You use a pencil to write a story and to draw.  It is made out of wood and lead.  You hold it with two fingers at the top and your thumb at the side of the         pencil.  You should sharpen it if it is blunt and put the sharpenings in the compost.

3D Shapes

I was learning to know corners faces and edges on 3D shapes.It was fun to get to know how to find out to know how many faces corners and edges.It was tricky to find out the corners faces and edges.

2D Shapes

I was learning to know how many equal sids and angles.It was fun to find out the equal sides and and angles.
It was tricky to find out the equal sids and angles.

Multiplication and division

I am learning to solve multiplication and division problems.  This is the strategy that I am using.  I must learn my multiplication and division tables.

Bike Skills

This is room14 doing bike skills.  Room14 liked doing bike skills.  It was fun doing bike skills.  

Next time it will be even more fun.

Mother Day

This was for my mum she liked it.

Diamante poem

I was learning to use nouns, verbs and adjectives.  It was tricky to find out which were nouns and verbs.  I am proud that I got as many words as I needed for the diamante poem.  Next I will know which are which and try to use them in my writing.

Reflection

i was learning to break up the numbers to help me subtract the numbers.  It was tricky to remember which numbers to subtract and which numbers to add.  I am proud because now I understand this strategy.  I can practise and try to use bigger numbers.

I am learning how to calculate the answer of an addition equation.

I used a stage 5 strategy to solve the equation.  Next I can break up bigger numbers.

Reflection:I was learning to use descriptive words in my writing.  It was tricky to think of adverbs.  Next time I can use a dictionary for help.
